Shadows
I've followed the beauty of your shadow
Over hills and valleys, through storms and
Oceans towards windswept beaches; for
From adversity comes understanding to
Live every day, for the beauty of you.
I walk holding your hand in my heart, to
Forever know my heart is always loved
Through the touch of your soul, scribed
By your captivating patchwork of apples
And forests painted in the lilt of your eyes.
